FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our residents attend either United South-Central High School (regular education students) located in Wells, MN, or Southern Plains Arise Academy (​students with IEP/504 plans) located in Fairmont, MN.  Due to COVID-19, MGA has made the decision to educate our residents through distance learning for the 2020-2021 school year.  The above-listed districts will be coordinating the curriculum with the child’s home school district.

Once accepted to MGA, referring agencies and parents are identified as part of the “Treatment Team”. In conjunction with MGA team members, they help develop and have continuous input into the child’s treatment plan, home visitation, observations. 

Recreation activities include volleyball, basketball, tennis, kickball, street hockey, swimming, bicycling, nature walks, fishing, various arts & crafts, board games and puzzles. This list is not exhaustive.
